Margo has been drawing and painting most of her life, and her style and techniques are primarily self-taught. She has developed her own unique style with oils. Many of her paintings are landscapes and wildlife, which reflect her love of nature and the outdoors. Margo loves creating a painting using colors and textures so another dimension is added to the canvas. When using only black and white, she again uses texture and brush strokes to emphasizing the drama and contrast between light and dark. Margo lives in southeastern Washington, along the Snake River, with her husband, a black and white cat and her dog Cooper. Margo began marketing her original paintings professionally in 1994, with the support and encouragement of her husband and daughter. Upon retiring from her 9 to 5, she is now a full time artist and loving it. Her work is sold at art shows, northwest galleries, Foxden Studio or by commission.
