Creative Network

What is the Creative Network?

The Creative Network is a triannual event that invites creatives to network, create, and maintain momentum towards a more vibrant artistic community.

The Creative Network is an opportunity to meet your fellow artists and art enthusiasts, and to share ideas and projects in a fun after-hours setting. We are excited to once again explore all the talent and energy this valley has to offer!

When is the next Creative Network meeting?

We are currently working on scheduling our next Creative Network for sometime in June! Keep checking on this page and our Newsletter for updates!

How can I participate?

First things first—Come and collaborate! Share your energy, enthusiasm, and ideas with the arts community. When people combine their talents, amazing things can be accomplished.

Present

Each event we hope to shine the spotlight on what people and groups are doing in the Walla Walla Valley arts community, with a handful of quick presentations. Contact ArtWalla if you would like to present at an upcoming meeting.

Host

Each meeting will be hosted at a different location in the valley, contact our Program Director if you would like to host the Creative Network.

Volunteer

Interested in what happens behind-the-scenes? We can always use an extra set of hands to bring it all together. Contact ArtWalla if you would like to volunteer.

Past Events

On March 30th we had our first Creative Network event since before the Pandemic and the amazing response we got from our community was overwhelmingly heartwarming. We had more than 70 community members join us to newly appreciate the land we live on through the spoken work of Rena Priest. Together we learned about the process in which Foundry Vineyards selected and curated their 1st annual juried art show, then we discovered all the diverse meanings for FVC, we supported and enjoyed young musicians who are preparing to make their way in the world, and finally heard from members of the Creative District Planning Committee on how this District will benefit our community as a whole.

We enjoyed getting to spend time with old friends and met many new ones as well. As an organization we would like to thank everyone who attended and made this event a success with an extra special shoutout to Lisa Anderson, Zoe Holmes, and Foundry Vineyard for the encouragement and support to start this program back up. Thank you so much for hosting ArtWalla in your beautiful space!
